Cookie Policy

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to site owners.
What cookies do we use?
We take a minimal approach to cookies. Here is a complete list of every cookie WhatDoIEarn.co.uk uses:
Essential Cookies (strictly necessary)
Session cookie (laravel_session) — This is required for the website to function. It maintains your session state as you navigate between pages. It contains no personal information and expires when you close your browser, or after 7 days if you check "Remember me" on the admin login.
CSRF token (XSRF-TOKEN) — A security cookie that prevents cross-site request forgery attacks on form submissions. This is a standard security measure and contains no personal information.
Preference Cookies
Cookie consent (localStorage: cookie_consent) — Remembers whether you have accepted or declined our cookie notice. This is stored in your browser's local storage, not as a cookie.
What cookies do we NOT use?
We do not use:
— Tracking cookies (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.)
— Advertising cookies
— Third-party cookies of any kind
— Fingerprinting or any other tracking technology
— Social media tracking pixels
Our analytics
We built our own privacy-first analytics system. It uses zero cookies, stores no personal data, and cannot identify individual users. IP addresses are hashed daily and cannot be reversed. Analytics data is automatically deleted after 90 days.
How to control cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Removing our essential cookies may affect the functionality of the website (for example, form submissions may not work).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
