TL;DR
We collect zero personal data. No accounts, no emails, no tracking. Your salary submission is completely anonymous.
What we collect
We store only the salary data you voluntarily submit: job title, salary, region, experience level, and employment type. IP addresses are hashed using a one-way cryptographic function (SHA-256) solely for rate limiting and spam prevention. This hash cannot be reversed to identify you.
What we don't collect
No names, no email addresses, no user accounts, no tracking cookies, no analytics scripts that identify individuals, no fingerprinting, no advertising pixels. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for basic site functionality (session management, CSRF protection). These are strictly necessary and do not track you. No analytics or advertising cookies are used.
Data retention
Salary submissions are retained indefinitely to build a comprehensive, useful dataset. IP hashes used for rate limiting are automatically purged after 30 days.
Third parties
We use Cloudflare for CDN and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may process some connection metadata per their own privacy policy. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any other third parties.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to request deletion of your data. However, since submissions are anonymous and we cannot identify which submission belongs to you, we cannot selectively delete individual entries. If you have concerns, contact us.
